The deadline for the School to School -- Face to Face Contest has now passed. Congratulations to the two schools who submitted winning entries- Malibu High School in Malibu, CA and Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, GA! In March 2011, the schools each participated in a live video chat with Darfuri students in Goz Amer refugee camp.
Darfur Dream Team is excited to announce our first contest, “School to School – Face to Face,” to offer schools participating in the Darfur Dream Team Sister Schools program an opportunity to win a live video chat with Darfuri refugee students.
Do you want to connect your school with its sister school in an exciting and meaningful way? Your class or team can enter by submitting a short, creative piece, such as an essay, artwork, or a video. Have fun with it!
Two winning schools will participate in a live, cross-continental video chat with Darfuri students in Chad when we return to the refugee camps in March.
Submissions will be accepted from January 31-March 1, 2011. Entries may be emailed to sisterschools@enoughproject.org or mailed to our office - Enough Project, c/o Buky Williams, 1225 Eye Street NW, Ste. 307, Washington DC 20005.
The winning entries will be posted to our website.

Need ideas for what to write, film or create for the School to School- Face to Face Contest? In your own creative way, tell us how you got involved in the Darfur Dream Team Sister Schools Program. When did you find out about Darfur? What inspired you to support education in the refugee camps? Why do you think education is so important for the refugee students and their families? How do you or your students benefit from participating in the Program? These are just a few suggestions, use your imagination to tell us why your school should be chosen!
